Yesterday I launched my review of Left Alive, the latest (and maybe the last) tie-in to the Front Mission series. All-in-all I found the game to be neither fun or good, so it’s probably best for you to avoid it at all costs. Nevertheless, if you are interested in trying the game for yourself, definitely give the gameplay below
Left Alive
Left Alive is a culmination of unoriginal ideas that never click together to create a cohesive gaming experience in 2019. Ultimately, it isn’t fun, and it’s certainly not good. On the surface, Left Alive appears to have some potential but upon hopping into the game’s first chapter, all hope seemingly washes away in an instant when you have
Left Alive is now available in the west on PS4 and PC via Steam, and Square Enix published the game’s launch trailer. The World of Tanks and Half-Life free DLCs have also been detailed. As already stated during their announcement on stream, the items they unlock are purely cosmetical and have no incidence on gameplay.
Square Enix held the third Left Alive live show stream today, showcasing more gameplay, including Wanzer battles, and revealing some pretty neat things about the game. Most notably, Square Enix revealed Left Alive is having a collaboration with Valve’s Half-Life. The steam version of the game exclusively will allow you to find and use doctor
Square Enix published a new 14-minutes gameplay video for Left Alive, featuring both” survival action” and story parts. As a reminder, Left Alive has 3 protagonists, the Wanzer pilot of the Rutenian army Mikhail, the Novoslava police officer Olga, and the Novoslava liberation movement’s second-in-command Leonid, with each chapter having us control one of the three.
Square Enix revealed new live gameplay for Left Alive on today’s “Left Alive live show vol.2” live stream. We also learned that the PS4 version of Left Alive has gone gold. Meanwhile, the PC version of the game is still being tweaked, but it shouldn’t take long, seeing it releases only a few days after the
Square Enix published a new cinematic trailer for Left Alive, along with new information on the game’s story, characters, its online features, and the New Game + functionality. The story details concern Olga, one of the protagonists of Left Alive. As a reminder, the game is divided into chapters, and each chapter puts players in the
In order to celebrate New Year’s, many developers are taking the time to thank their fans on social media; that being said, some of them are using the opportunity to tease or make announcements. Detroit: Become Human developer Quantic Dream and SteamWorld developer Image & Form have taken the opportunity to tease announcements. Meanwhile, Kadokawa
A little over a year ago, Square Enix surprised everyone with Left Alive, a brand new survival shooter set in the world of Front Mission boasting a star-studded staff. Now, a year later (including several months of silence), the game is getting closer to its release. In order to know more about what we can expect, DualShockers talked to
During a studio event from Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix revealed the first gameplay footage of the upcoming Front Mission spin-off Left Alive. The gameplay was introduced by Executive Producer Shinji Hashimoto and Game Director Toshifumi Nabeshima, and it’s the footage that I was shown behind-closed-doors at Gamescom in Cologne (besides the third video. I
Nowadays, publishers often seem to feel that single-player games are less valuable, but apparently, Square Enix isn’t afraid to offer single-player experiences to its fans. The upcoming survival-action game Left Alive will be pretty much that. At Gamescom, we asked Director Toshifumi Nabeshima whether there was any multiplayer, and he explained that the title is designed to be
Square Enix has kept its upcoming survival action game Left Alive under wraps pretty much since its reveal at Tokyo Game Show 2017. At Gamescom 2018, DualShockers met with Director Toshifumi Nabeshima and Producer Shinji Hashimoto, who explained quite a lot of interesting elements about how the game will play, how much we’ll be able
With the end of Gamescom 2018, another big summer event is behind us, as we gear up for Tokyo Game Show in September. This year’s show in Cologne was definitely rich with Japanese content, including Devil May Cry 5, Ace Combat 7, Resident Evil 2, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and many more. Square Enix also presented Left Alive
E3 2018 has come and gone. While it was no Tokyo Game Show, it’s doubtless that a ton of great Japanese games was showcased. Yet, there are many that were expected to make an appearance, but were missing in action. Of course, the big one was the Final Fantasy VII Remake, but there are many
One of the most interesting reveals of Tokyo Game Show was Square Enix’s Left Alive, and according to Director Toshifumi Nabeshima, we won’t have to wait too long to hear more about the game. In the massive New Year group interview on the Japanese 4Gamer, Nabeshima-san explained that he was happy to see that the reaction to
Today Square Enix released a batch of new concept art and screenshots of its survival shooter Left Alive. Interestingly, the artwork showcases more of the world in ruins that will serve as a backdrop from the game. We clearly see some signage in Cyrillic, which appears to confirm that the city portrayed (which was named
