With the end of Gamescom 2018, another big summer event is behind us, as we gear up for Tokyo Game Show in September.

This year’s show in Cologne was definitely rich with Japanese content, including Devil May Cry 5, Ace Combat 7, Resident Evil 2, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and many more.

Square Enix also presented Left Alive behind closed doors, and boy I have a lot to say about that.

In this week’s Weebcast, I’ll talk about the Japanese games I saw and played at Gamescom, and give you a few juicy tidbits from the chats I had with quite a few of their developers.

As usual, Please keep in mind that this podcast is still in an experimental phase. Constructive criticism and suggestions are absolutely welcome and encouraged, so do leave them in the comments below. You can also let me know which themes you’d like to see covered in upcoming episodes.

Now, without further ado, you can listen to the DualShockers’ Weebcast below, either on YouTube or Soundcloud. You can also listen on iTunes if you so wish. In case you missed it, you can also check out the previous episode about the “cool factor” of Japanese games. You can also enjoy the full playlist with all the previous episodes.
