Do you not know a single thing about Bethesda’s upcoming shooter Rage 2? Well, worry not, as a new trailer released today has got you covered.
Ahead of the official release of Rage 2 next month, Bethesda today let loose a new trailer for the game that answers the question, “What is Rage 2?” If you ever needed a quick overview of what to expect from Rage 2, then this video has all of the bare bones information about the title that you’re looking for.
As you might expect, the trailer shows off a lot of the various weapons and abilities that you’ll be able to utilize when playing the game. From items like the Wingstick, which is returning from the first game, to some of the more bombastic weapons that are present, there’s a whole lot of combat to see in this trailer. Plus, we get a few new glimpses of the open world and some of the activities to do within it.
In addition to just showing off more gameplay though, this trailer touches on the story aspect of Rage 2. In fact, the trailer outright states that if you’ve never played the first game, then that doesn’t matter. All you really need to know is that an asteroid destroyed the planet and now you’re living in a post-apocalyptic age. It’s a fun, tongue-in-cheek message that also makes me know I’m okay for never having played the original game myself.
