Good morning and Merry Christmas everyone! This is Lou Contaldi, friendly neighborhood Editor-in-Chief at DualShockers, and I just wanted to check in with the best part of our site–readers–for the holiday season. First, and most importantly, let’s set the mood — go ahead and start playing this video below:

Next, let’s knock the normal relative Holiday convo out of the way: How are the kids? How’s college doing? Are you still with Karen?

Good, we’ve touched on the big things–consider this a test-run for later today when your Great Aunt wants to bring up the state of US Politics or your 401k (don’t check today).

More importantly, we want to make sure you know how much all of us at the DualShockers family thank you for letting us be a part of your day-to-day lives. Whether you just pick us up when we trend on Google, if we make your workplace bathroom breaks a bit better, or if you have us bookmarked as your main gaming outlet, thank you!

There is simply nothing more important to us that we have people to share our love of gaming with, and everyone here makes this possible. In short, the next round of spiked eggnog or hot chocolate is on us!

We’ve still got some time left until New Years Day, with a few holidays taking place in-between and are hoping to make sure that we use the rest of 2018 to highlight the positivity in game. This includes the DualShockers Game of the Year awards for 2018, which you can check out if you missed them. As a quick spoiler alert, congratulations to Sony Santa Monica and God of War — as well as every other team that made it onto the list this year.

Meanwhile, let us know how you are doing in the comments — how did Santa treat you this year? What does your gaming (or non-gaming) Christmas haul look like this year, and does it include an Oppai mousepad? What are you playing to break up the holiday? Are we taking bets if PSN will crash this year?

I can’t repeat this enough: Happy Holidays from the DualShockers family, and Merry Christmas from me personally. Thanks for being a big part of our lives, and letting us be a part of yours.

Now let’s get ready for Kingdom Heart III and everything else 2019 has in store.
