Zone of the Enders HD and Rumble Roses XX Are Now Backwards Compatible on Xbox One

Zone of the Enders HD and Rumble Roses XX have been added to the backwards compatibility list on Xbox One as announced by Major Nelson on twitter this morning.

Zone of the Enders HD was released on October 30, 2012 and is a collection of Zone of the Enders and Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner which released on PlayStation 2 in 2001 and 2003 respectively. This was a separate series Hideo Kojima worked on during his time at Konami. A new VR project called Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner Mars was announced during Sony’s Tokyo Game Show press conference in 2017 for PlayStation VR and is set to release sometime this fall.

Rumble Roses XX was originally released on January 8, 2013 and also comes from publisher Konami. A sequel to the PlayStation 2 game Rumble Roses from 2004, Rumble Roses XX is a professional fighting game featuring an all female cast and no story mode.

As with all Xbox One backwards compatible games you can either use your Xbox 360 dis. Without one you can download or purchase the digital version on your Xbox One in order to enjoy both games. Rumble Roses XX currently goes for $14.99 though Zone of the Enders HD is currently unavailable digitally.
