Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links Finally Gets Turbo Duels Straight From 5D’s

Last SeptemberYu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links received characters, cards, and other features based on the second spin-off, Yu-Gi-Oh 5D’s. One feature that was notably absent, however, was Turbo Duels. Now, that’s all changed as the mode has finally made its way into the popular mobile….well, kind of.

For those that don’t know, Turbo Duels are handled a little bit different than standard duels. During this mode, players earn Speed Counters during certain actions like normal summoning monsters, Synchro summoning monsters, etc. These counters can then be removed for certain effect. The more you remove, the better effect you’ll get. Some effects allow you to simply draw cards, while others allow you to destroy opponents cards.

Unfortunately, right now, the only person you can Turbo Duel against right now is Jack Atlas; PvP and other PvE Turbo Duels are not yet available. That being said, hopefully, players won’t have to wait too long to “rev it up” (I’m sorry (I’m not sorry)).

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links is available on iOS and Android devices, as well as PC.
