British developer and publisher Team17 has announced that the Nintendo Switch port of Yooka-Laylee is now available via the Nintendo eShop for $39.99 and to celebrate, the publisher has uploaded a new launch trailer.

Initially launching on April 11, 2017, Yooka-Laylee was developed by Playtonic Games and serves as a spiritual successor to Rare’s Banjo-Kazooie series. In Yooka-Laylee, players control two characters — Yooka, a chameleon, and Laylee, a bat — and are on a quest to retrieve a magical book from an evil corporation who want to use the book to use the book to turn all of the world’s literature into a profit.

Despite reception for the title being somewhat mixed, Nintendo fans have been eagerly awaiting for the platformer to hit Nintendo’s hybrid console. The Switch version of Yooka-Laylee will feature all past updates that released post-launch. Additionally, the Switch version of the game will also feature single-JoyCon play for all eight of the multiplayer games, a custom Achievement system as to accommodate the lack of an Achievement/Trophy feature on the Switch, as well as the ability to play the game on the go wherever and whenever you want.

Yooka-Laylee is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch. Check out the launch trailer below this article:
