Every now and then, video game brands like Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo will crossover with popular clothing labels to create some interesting collaborations. We’ve seen it a lot in the past when PlayStation teamed up with Nike to release specially branded backpacks in addition to some limited-edition Paul George PG-2 shoes. Now, it seems as though Microsoft and the team at Xbox will soon be partnering with one of the titans of the sneakerhead world.

Over on Twitter recently, the official Xbox account teased that it will soon be teaming up with the Jordan brand for a collaboration of some sort. In the brief teaser video that Xbox released, it was said that more information on what this partnership will take the form of will be revealed tomorrow, February 13. “Get ready to redefine the game,” Xbox said in its caption of the tweet in question.

While we don’t yet know what this collab will look like, you’d have to assume it will result in some limited edition shoes or an Xbox One console. In the past, that’s typically been the MO when it comes to brand combinations like this.

Personally, I’m hoping that this crossover ends up resulting in a pair of Xbox-branded Jordan Retro 1’s, which is my all-time favorite pair of shoes. At the same time, if that were to happen, I’d likely feel some intense pressure on my wallet, so maybe it’d be better if that didn’t come to fruition.

We’ll keep you posted on what this collaboration ends up taking the form of when Xbox and Jordan reveal more tomorrow.
