WoW Burning Crusade Classic is coming On June 1, 2021, but players will be able to experience the pre-expansion patch on May 18, 2021. Make sure you know the exact release time of the pre-patch so you can jump in.
WoW Classic is set to receive the game’s first expansion, Burning Crusade. There will be a lot of new content for players to explore, including two new races to play as. DualShockers has summarised the new expansion below.

WoW: Burning Crusade Classic
Burning Crusade is the first expansion for World of Warcraft Classic and it will launch globally on June 1 at 6PM PT | 9PM ET | 11PM BST.
The expansion is free to all existing subscribers of World of Warcraft Classic, players will be able to download and install the pre-patch from May 18 – depending on the region.
There’s plenty to go through in the new WoW Classic expansion, but most importantly there will be two new races, the Blood Elves and the Draenei. The level cap will be increased to level 70, there will be new flying mounts and plenty more.

Pre-Patch Release Date & Time
The release date and time for the WoW Classic pre-patch will vary slightly depending on your region, as the development team will be deploying server maintenance and different times around the world.
Players in the United States will be able to download the pre-patch on Tuesday, May 18. Whilst players in Europe will have to wait until Wednesday, May 19.
According to The Express, players will be able to jump into the pre-patch as soon as server maintenance is completed. You can find the expected completion time of the WoW Classic server maintenance below.
- WoW Classic Server Maintenance (US) – Will complete at 3PM PT | 6PM ET on May 18, 2021.
- WoW Classic Server Maintenance (UK) – Will complete at 8AM BST on May 19, 2021.
The upcoming pre-patch will reportedly be available for download once server maintenance concludes at the aforementioned times.
