Don’t worry for a moment that Jason Voorhees is going to be limited to his iconic machete. In the latest trailer from developer Gun Media, we see some notably gruesome slayings with Jason in Friday the 13th: The Game. However, the trailer isn’t just haphazardly thrown together to showcase deaths — instead, it is used to highlight that players can use different weapons as you cut down any popular teenager crossing your path.

Seen in the video below, Jason is brutalizing anyone and everyone with whatever he has at hand. From the video, this seems to include metal poles, hatchets, ice picks, shears, and everything in-between. The message is simple, yet effective: “Mix, Match, Slash.”

If you haven’t been following the most recent developments of Friday the 13th: The Game, developer Gun Media has been highlighting the upcoming Single Player Challenges for Jason. Last week we got an extensive video of that mode in progress, and it was nothing short of cinematic and brutal murder.

Friday the 13th: The Game released on May 26, 2017 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It isn’t immediately clear when the Single Player Challenges are coming to the game, but it will be available at no additional cost. With this in mind, check out the “Jason Weapon Swapping” teaser below:
