There’s no doubt that Wasteland 3 has been one of the greatest RPGs of the year, but the game launched with a fair number of bugs and technical issues back in August. Although serious ones are already gone with the initial updates, the remaining ones will be wiped out as well thanks to the upcoming update.

Later in August, InXile Entertainment and Deep Silver officially launched Wasteland 3, a game that soon turned out to be one of the best RPG experiences of 2020. With mostly positive reviews, Wasteland 3 turned into one of the critically acclaimed titles of this year, and if the technical problems were not there at launch, it could be even more successful.

While some of the big technical issues of the game like sudden crashes and other game-breaking bugs resolved in the early weeks of launch, there are still some bugs remaining in the game. With Update 1.2.0. that will be available next week, InXile has promised to wipe out bugs and bring a ton of fixes and improvements to the game.

Wasteland 3 has been nominated for the best RPG title of the year at The Game Awards 2020, where it has to compete against games like Persona 5 Royal, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Genshin Impact, and Yakuza: Like A Dragon.

InXile Entertainment is now working on their next AAA RPG title which is powered by Unreal Engine 5. The developers haven’t revealed any details about their next project, but regarding the budget and resources they get from Microsoft, we should expect something bigger than Wasteland 3.

Wasteland 3 is now available on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. You can play it for free if you are already an Xbox Game Pass subscriber.
