Warzone Plague Event

It looks like players may already be experiencing the beginning of the Plague Event in Warzone. With new Radiation Zones and the possibility of turning into a Zombie, could this be the beginning of the end?

Activision has been teasing fans with a countdown for April 21 at 12PM PT, which many fans and leakers are expecting the be the heavily rumoured Nuke Event.

But it looks like the Radiation Zones are actually the beginning of the plague event, and it could be related to Warzone wins not counting since the Radiation arrived.

Why Are Warzone Wins Not Counting?

It was first reported by Call of Duty leaker, @ModernWarzone, that stats were not tracking properly in Warzone since the April 15 Playlist Update. But it wasn’t until @WZRanked debunked the stats situation that everything started to make more sense.

According to the Warzone stat tracker account, players stats not counting could actually be intentional.

Due to players being able to turn into a Zombie in Duos, Trios, and Quads, it wouldn’t be fair to class these wins as your normal Warzone win. Therefore, these three modes are now classed as Limited Time Modes and will not track your stats.

However, Solo wins should still track as usual as players cannot turn into a Zombie in the solo Warzone mode.

You can expect stats to continue tracking as normal when Season 3 begins and the Plague Event comes to an end.

Cold War & Warzone Season 3

Season 3 of Cold War and Warzone is set to begin on April 22, fans can expect a brand new Battle Pass, New Multiplayer Maps, and possibly even a brand new Warzone map.

There is yet to be any confirmation from Activision about the content coming in Season 3, but what we do know is that there is less than 1 week left to level up that Season 2 Battle Pass.

Jump in to Cold War and Warzone Season 2 now until April 22.
