Today, during a pre-E3 presentation hosted by Sony Interactive Entertainment, we got the promised announcement of a game that will get a port for PlayStation VR.

The game is Beat Saber by Czech-based developer Hyperbolic Games, that has been pretty much killing it on Steam early access since May.

The game is pretty much what it says on the tin, letting the player enjoy slicing and dicing with a beam saber in the context of a rhythm game.

It’s pretty much a game that can’t not be fun in VR, and the enthusiastic reactions of many to the Steam version definitely appear to confirm that.

You can check out the video below (keep in mind that the small print says that it’s the PC version portrayed). If you want to see more, you can check out some screenshots and another gameplay video of the Steam version.

If you don’t have PlayStation VR yet and want to get in on the fun, you can grab your unit on Amazon. Otherwise, the game is already available on Steam for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Windows Mixed Reality.
