Posted by The Wall Street Journal’s Takashi Mochizuki, a video has emerged online that appears to show what is Sony’s PS5 running Insomniac’s Spider-Man. The video seems to be exactly what was described in Wired’s interview with Mark Cerny, showing the new hardware up against a PS4 Pro. You can check it out for yourself down below.

If you’re not familiar with the power of SSDs, what you’re seeing above is a powerful SSD hard at work in rendering the world of Spider-Man at an astronomically quicker pace than the PS4 Pro’s internals. Loading times will be improved and with a stronger SSD, developers will be able to build more seamless worlds with greater rendering capabilities.

Back in April, Sony revealed the first details on their next-gen hardware. The console will emphasize SSD advantages, offer backward compatibility with PS4, and support all current and future PS VR models. Not much else is known about the next PlayStation, but it seems that Sony is definitely getting ready to show something in the near future. Also, it’s worth mentioning that Mark Cerny did hint at Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding being on both PS4 and the new hardware.

As of right now, Sony is skipping out on E3 this summer and has made no announcement about any sort of PSX event. However, they have been keeping up with State of Play, a relatively new livestream event that’s similar to Nintendo Direct. Their most recent showing contained new footage of Final Fantasy VII Remake and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne
