As promised, Riot Games officially confirmed the Public Test Environment (PBE) for its FPS title, Valorant. And if you are one of those players who want to be a part of Valorant’s test environment, here’s everything you need to know.
Millions of players enjoy playing Valorant, and that’s why devs work hard on improving the game’s performance through updates. However, once in a while, these updates can introduce some frustrating bugs in the game. For instance, several players reported FPS drops in the game after installing Patch 2.11. And that’s exactly why a PBE is incredibly crucial for Valorant.

According to Riot, a PBE could help identify bugs associated with the update. The devs can evaluate the stability of agents, weapon balance, game systems, etc., before releasing the patch globally.

According to Riot Games’ official post, Valorant PBE will open on July 9th, 2021. And when it comes to the region, the Public Test Environment will only be available for a limited number of North American players.
Apparently, the devs will open up the PBE one weekend before the new patch and two Weekends before the “Tuesday live date.” In this period, players can test the content and report bugs while also suggesting some other changes.
How to Sign up for Valorant PBE?
If you are from North America with a keen interest in trying out new maps, agents, weapon skins, and other in-game features before the rest of the world, you can easily sign up for Valorant PBE here.
Also, you have to use your main Valorant account for the PBE. So, make sure you do not have any bans or restrictions on the Valorant account if you want to get recruited.
