Valkyria Chronicles 4 Getting Free Demo on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch

Following the sneak release of the Valkyria Chronicles 4 demo on the European PlayStation Store, Sega reached out with a press release announcing that everyone will be able to enjoy it regardless of their console of choice.

The demo is either already up (for instance on Xbox One) or will go up shortly on all regions of the PlayStation Network, on the Xbox Store, and on the Nintendo eShop.

Unfortunately, there is no mention of a version of the demo for PC users.

The demo will let you access the prologue and the first two chapters of the game, as well as an exclusive bonus mission that doesn’t appear in the full game. All the save data transfer to the full game, so you can get a headstart, and doing so will also net you a special accessory.

Digital pre-orders are also becoming available in all platforms and regions and should either be already up or should go up shortly. Pre-ordering will net you the ‘A Captainless Squad‘ bonus mission, which will also become available post-launch as a separate DLC for $4.99 in late October.

If you want to know more, You can also read our hands-on preview from E3, and check out a trailer featuring the Switch version, and another one showing the opening cutscene.

The game will be available on September 25th for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in a standard edition for $59.99, while the Memoirs of Battle edition will cost $99.99.

If you prefer the physical editions, can already pre-order Valkyria Chronicles 4 including its rich collector’s edition from Amazon.
