Valkyria Chronicles 4 and Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom enjoyed pretty solid launches in Japan, but their numbers weren’t enough to surpass Kirby Star Allies, that shows a nice tail after launching in the first place as Media Create predicted last week.

Detective Pikachu also performed pretty well despite launching on an ailing console.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition and even more so Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remaster show once more that the Japanese audience can’t care the less for remasters, no matter how popular the franchise is.

In the meanwhile, Monster Hunter World keeps selling pretty decently for a game that launched quite a while ago, and will possibly pass two million units sold at retail in Japan alone next week.
