For those that have finished up their adventures in Ancient Egypt with Bayek and have been patiently waiting for more content in Assassin’s Creed Origins, the wait won’t be much longer.
Ubisoft today revealed the dates for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Origins’ DLC with the first arriving next week. This first add-on is titled The Hidden Ones and is a story expansion centered around growing the Brotherhood. The story in The Hidden Ones takes place four years after the events in Assassin’s Creed Origins and also increases the game’s level cap from 40 to 45. It’ll be available on January 23 for $9.99, or free to those who already purchased the season pass.
The next DLC pack for Origins won’t arrive until March and will this time focus on Egyptian mythology. The second DLC, entitled The Curse of Pharaohs will find players delving into the region of Thebes as they investigate a curse that is plaguing the land. Throughout this story, you can expect to meet some famous pharaohs and Egyptian beasts from history while also further increasing your character’s level as the cap will now be 55. The Curse of Pharaohs will be available on March 6 for $19.99.
Lastly, Ubisoft revealed when they would be launching the previously announced Discovery Tour game mode which serves as a sort of museum-like experience for those who want to learn more about Ancient Egypt. Discovery Tour will be available to all players who own Assassin’s Creed Origins via a free update that will come on February 20. Perhaps the coolest part of Discovery Mode’s release, however, is that it will be available for purchase separately from Assassin’s Creed Origins on PC for a price of $19.99. This is convenient for those who may only have interest in this mode.
All of this content will be coming to Assassin’s Creed Origins over the next few months along with a variety of new free updates that include new quests. If you like Assassin’s Creed Origins and have been wanting more to play, it seems safe to say that you’ll be able to find something enjoyable among this slew of add-ons.
