Ubisoft has continued to tease the upcoming content update Operation Wind Bastion for Rainbow Six Siege, this time with a brief trailer for operator Jalal “Kaid” El Fassi.
This new operator is part of the Royal Moroccan Gendarmerie and a defense operator whose gear includes what appears to be an electrified proximity device capable of being attached to hatches. Some details on Kaid, as well as his partner Nomad, another operator who will be revealed fully on November 18, were leaked to Reddit. His ability will allow him to deny enemy access to guarded rooms via trap doors, and Nomad’s teaser showcases her ability to launch players into the air via a concussive wave. You can expect to see her teaser soon, as we have already gotten a video for Siege’s next map, the Moroccan Fortress that Kaid is commander of. Comments have pointed out his appearance as a more fully bearded Maestro, as well as his electrical ability being related to Bandit’s.
Both Kaid, Nomand, and the Fortress map will be given more details at the end of the Rainbow Six Siege Pro League Finals from November 17-18 that will be livestreamed on Rainbow 6‘s Twitch channel.
