It seems like one of the most successful voice actors in the industry, Troy Baker, will not be reprising his role as Yuri Lowell in Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition. But don’t fret just yet, it seems like all of the original audio will be as it was when the game originally released with Baker’s voice. Any additional dialog from new scenes that’ll be included for the first time in the west will be someone doing an impersonation of the actor.

A fan noticed the differences in some scenes and notified Baker via Twitter:

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is the first time this particular entry will be making its way to a Sony platform in the west, and a Nintendo platform altogether. Back in 2008, Vesperia came overseas exclusively to Xbox 360. A PS3 version was released with more content in Japan, but it never saw the light of day over here. Much of that additional content will make its way into the Definitive Edition.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will launch for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on January 11, 2019. The game will set you back $49.99 USD.
