The Elder Scrolls VI and The Elder Scrolls Blades Announced by Bethesda

Android, iOS, News, Originals, The Elder Scrolls Blades, The Elder Scrolls VI

During Bethesda’s press conference being held in Los Angeles, the publisher announced two The Elder Scrolls games: The Elder Scrolls VI and The Elder Scrolls Blades.

The Elder Scrolls Blades is a “Pure Elder Scrolls game” designed for mobile platforms, but Bethesda’s Todd Howard announced that it’s going to come to all platforms possible, including PC, consoles, and virtual reality headsets. The most interesting thing is that they will all play together on the same servers.

It features both hand-crafted and procedurally generated dungeons. You can create your own characters and customize them, and fight both in melee and with magic or ranged weapons.

You can also play the entire game in portrait mode. It includes three modes, Abyss, Arena, and Town. Town is a town-building mode pretty much as it says on the tin, and you can even visit your friends’ towns.

The Elder Scrolls Blades will come this fall, and it will be free. You can pre-register today for iOS and Android.

Yet, that’s not all, as Bethesda also teased The Elder Scrolls VI. Unfortunately the next mainline Elder Scrolls game still a long time away, coming after another title belonging to a new IP named Starfield. The accompanying press release mentions that it’s currently in pre-production. It’ll be a while before we get our hands on it.

Of course, this as just one of the announcement Bethesda delivered at its press conference. If you want to see the rest, you can check out the full recording.
