This week, Maryland-based studio Bethesda Softworks announced that the next expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online would take place in Summerset, the ancestral home of Tamriel’s Altmer—the High Elves.

According to the press release, the Summerset DLC will wrap-up the story that initially started back in 2015 with the Orsinium expansion. Aside from wrapping up a narrative, the Summerset DLC will also introduce new content, including a new zone, a new jewelry crafting skill, and new Delves, Boss battles, a brand-new 12-player Trial called Cloudrest, as well as the Psijic Order faction and skillset.

For those of you unaware of this location, the Summerset Isles is a vibrant, and fertile land. Despite the beautiful and lush landscape, within the archipelago, a dark force hides within the shadows, which threatens to eliminate the High Elf Society.

Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset will launch on PC first on May 21 while the PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions will be available a few weeks later on June 5. WIth pre-orders for the expansion now live, with several lucrative editions available, such as the alluring Physical Collector’s Edition, which comes with a statue of the Daedric Prince Mephala.

Additionally, those who pre-purchase the title will also snag the Queen’s Bounty Pack, which features the Court of Bedlam costume, a pet Pocket Salamander, treasure maps, a Psijic Vault Crown crate, several experience boosters, as well as a digital copy of the Morrowind DLC and the Nightmare Senche mount.
