Today, during a panel at PAX West, NIS America released a brand new trailer for the upcoming JRPG The Caligula Effect: Overdose.
The trailer gives a better look at the story and the characters that we’ll meet in the game.
If you’re not familiar with The Caligula Effect: Overdose, it’s the home console port of The Caligula Effect, which was originally released for PlayStation Vita. The game comes from the Japanese developer Furyu.
You can check out the trailer below. Personally, I’m really eager to play this, since I liked the original, but it was marred by serious performance issues.
If you want to know more about the game, you can read our full review of the original PS Vita version. While the port adds some features, it’s still a good look at what it has to offer.

The Caligula Effect: Overdose will release for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2019.
