Bandai Namco has announced a new Tekken game coming exclusively to iOS and Android devices. The game is simply titled Tekken.
Players will be able to collect over 100 characters from the game’s universe. Each one will have unique combos that you can mix and match as well as upgrade.
Tekken mobile will also feature a slew of cool game modes including:
- Story Mode
- Dojo Challenge
- Live Events
Story mode will have you pick three different characters to help out Kazuya Mishima and Nina Williams against a powerful new enemy, the Revenant, who was created exclusively for the mobile version of Tekken.
Dojo Challenge acts as the game’s online versus. You’ll be able to upload your fighting styles into AI, which will defend your dojo from online invaders.
Live Events are experiences and encounters that will be updated daily, weekly, and monthly. These events can range from a slew of unique experiences and encounters.
Players can pre-register for the game now at its official website, if enough people pre-register for the game Bandai Namco will give all of its players a ton special rewards at launch.
In other Tekken news, Tekken 7 reportedly has sold over 1.66 million copies just after two months on the market. The game also topped the U.S. NPD chart back in June.

Tekken will be available on iOS and Android devices. The game released today as a soft launch in Canada. It will not support iPhone 6 or lower as well as Android devices with less than 1 gb of memory.
