Today Koei Tecmo updated the official website of its upcoming Musou-style Fire Emblem game Fire Emblem Warriors, including new screenshots and information.

First and foremost, we take a look at three newly introduced characters (well, two, as one was announced with a previous trailer) from Fire Emblem Fates: Male Corrin, Sakura and Elise. It’ll certainly be interesting to see how the game will handle the presence of the male and female versions of two characters in the game, story-wise.

We also get a look at two ways in which we can make our heroes and weapons grow with the reinforcement system.

The Coat of Arms menu lets us use special emblems to power-up characters through a grid system. We can improve abilities, combos, give news skills and more, with various effects depending on the type of emblems used.

The training system lets us transfer the characteristics of a weapon onto another, this includes special effects and magical elements.

You can check out the screenshots below, and if you want to see more of the Nintendo Switch version of the game,  you can also watch a recent trailer showing Elise in action, another showing a co-op attack between Ryoma and Xander, one more semi-recent trailer, another batch of screenshots, one more trailer showing Cordelia in action, one showing Robin using her magic, a video displaying the bond system, which was also showcased with screenshots. A couple of weeks ago, we also got some hectic gameplay from Gamescom showing quite a few members of the cast in action.

Of course, you shouldn’t forget to read our hands-on preview from E3 2017.

Fire Emblem Warriors will launch on Nintendo Switch and on the 3DS family of systems on September 28th in Japan, and on October 20th in Europe and North America.
