After some delays, Capcom Mobile announced that they have finally released updated version of Street Fighter IV for iOS titled Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition today. This version of the game brings some new characters and features along with it.

Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition includes 25 playable characters, and three of them – Poison, Ibuki and Dudley – are new to this version of the game. Six more undisclosed characters will also be making their way to this version of the games as free updates in the coming months. This title also boasts a higher resolution and widescreen support.

The game does have default virtual pad controls that will help one execute things such as unique attacks, special moves, focus attacks, super combos and ultra combos, but Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition also has full MFI controller support in both single player and multiplayer.

The game’s single player has four levels of difficulty, and consists of tutorials for more casual players and an Arcade mode. Mutliplayer lets players take each other on in 1v1 matches via Wi-Fi. Capcom recommends that Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition runs on iOS 10.0 or higher.

The game is currently on sale for only $4.99 on the App Store. You can check out some screenshots that boast this game’s features below. If you would rather check out this game on a home or portable console, versions of Street Fighter IV are available on 3DS, PC, PS3, PS4, and Xbox 360.
