SteelSeries has announced a new gaming peripheral to their Arctis series of headsets – the Arctis 3 Bluetooth.

According to the manufacturer, the headset allows users to play audio from over Bluetooth and wired connections concurrently. This will enable gamers to connect wirelessly to mobile devices to use for chatting websites or jam out to their favorite music while using the wired portion for in-game audio. For example, PC players that own this headset would be able to use the Bluetooth feature for websites like Discord and use the wired feature for gaming audio.

Despite this headset being multiplatform, SteelSeries has heavily marketed the earphones to Nintendo Switch owners because they can use their product to connect their phones via Bluetooth and utilize Nintendo’s Online chat application, which is available exclusively for mobile devices. Additionally, the Arctis 3 Bluetooth features 40mm neodymium drivers with a frequency response of 20-22,000Hz. On top of that, the headset includes the same drivers that are found it its $300 frontrunner headset, the Siberia 800.

Currently, the headset is now available exclusively on Steelseries’ website for $129.99 and comes with a headband of your choice, free of charge. You can check out a few screenshots of the product below this article:
