Daedalic Entertainment is finally slated to release their long-awaited futuristic title State of Mind next month on August 15.
Today, State of Mind has received a new trailer which introduces those that aren’t very familiar with the game to its story. If you haven’t been aware of the game yourself, then here’s a brief synopsis of the narrative courtesy of the game’s Steam page.
State of Mind is a futuristic thriller game delving into transhumanism. The game explores themes of separation, disjuncture and reunification, in a world that is torn between a dystopian material reality and a utopian virtual future.
The coolest thing that you can see from watching today’s new trailer is how unique the game’s polygonal art style is. This design really sits in well with the futuristic setting of the game and is altogether just quite different.
