Star Wars Battlefront II Starfighter Assault Looks Stellar in PS4 Pro Gameplay Showing Full Match

Today I went hands-on once more with Star Wars: Battlefront II‘s new mode Starfighter Assault.

This time around, I was able to record gameplay, so I can show you a full match from the perspective of my TIE Bomber (which has quickly become my favorite ship within the mode).

The map is named “Fondor” and prompts the Imperial squadrons  to defend a crippled Star Destroyer moored to an orbital dock yard. In order to do so, they need to take care not only of enemy players, but also of AI-driven Y-Wings and a few blockade runners.

On the other hand, the Rebel forces have to destroy a wing of imperial Corvettes, followed by a bunch of shield generator in a rather claustrophobic tunnel, the clamps holding the star destroyer moored, and then its reactor core.

Personally, I found the whole mode extremely fun, as you can read on my hands-on preview from a couple of days ago.

Check out the video below, and if you want to see more, you can also enjoy the official trailer from the mode, and some gameplay from yesterday’s live show.

Star Wars Battlefront II releases on November 17th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
