Today Marvel’s Spider-Man Art Director Jacinda Chew had a couple interesting details to share about the upcoming game by Insomniac Games.
First of all, we hear about the gameplay, and we learn that it’s possible to swan dive towards the street and swing back up at the very last second. Chew gets a nice rollercoaster-like stomach drop thrill out of it.
My favorite thing to do in #SpiderManPS4 is to swan dive towards the street and swing back up at the very last minute. I love how my stomach drops every time!

Of course, a question arises: what happens if you don’t swing back up? Looks like you don’t just go “splat.” You just land. Yet, landing is for chumps.
You… land, but I’m Spider-Man so I need more swag. Landing is boring. I highly encourage you to swing stylishly when you play. It’s half the fun! https://t.co/TACqg9G54z

Another very interesting tease is about the box art. Apparently it’s “very close” to being finalized, and Chew believes that it’s going to pop on store shelves very nicely. Considering just how good the art of the game is, I can’t wait to see what will be on the cover.
Yes! We’re very close to finalizing it. It’s going to pop on store shelves nicely. Can’t wait to unveil it. https://t.co/wzILhaQ7hV
