SoulCalibur VI’s Returning Playable Character Cervantes Leaked

Bandai Namco, News, Originals, PC, Platforms, PS4, SoulCalibur VI, Xbox One

Looks like Bandai Namco’s SoulCalibur VI really is a bit cursed as far as leaks are concerned. An inordinate amount of its characters have leaked beforehand, one way or another.

This time around, we get to see another returning hero, or villain if you will. It’s everyone’s old and beloved pirate Cervantes de León, who appears to have gone back to his ghostly appearance. He also still wields the longsword Acheron and the gunblade Nirvana.

You can enjoy the trailer below (courtesy of YouTube user rooflemonger). If you want to see more, you can check out the reveal of Tira and that of new character Azwel. Another recent trailer introduced the Libra of Soul story mode, that lets you create your own fighter.

You can also read some comments by Producer Motohiro Okubo on the past and current situation of the SoulCalibur franchise, and on why the upcoming game took so long to make. We also heard that one of the upcoming DLC characters could be a guest from another franchise.

SoulCalibur VI will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 19th, 2018. You can already pre-order the game on Amazon.
