At Gamescom, Bandai Namco revealed that its upcoming fighting game SoulCalibur VI will have a second story mode title Libra of Soul.
In Libra of Soul, you are on a journey to stop the antagonist from garnering Soul Edge shards. To do so, you’ll travel across the world with a created character and fight anyone in your path in. This will include characters from the game, like The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia, as well as community-created fighters.
In Libra of Soul, you will create your own custom fighter offering over a thousand unique combinations. Customization options include 16 races, size of the character, facial features, hair style, clothes, armor, weapons, and fighting style. As seen in the trailer, you’ll be able to fight as humans, lizards, mummies, skeletons, and more. The trailer also shows different hairstyles, like a purple afro or a blonde mop top.
In other SoulCalibur VI news, Bandai Namco also announced that Tira would be returning to the series as a standalone DLC character as well as part of the game’s Season Pass.
SoulCalibur VI will launch for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 19, 2018.
