Today Sega released a new Japanese trailer for its upcoming Sonic game, Sonic Forces.
The trailer presents an overview of the game, starting with its main characters, Sonic, Classic Sonic and the custom avatar, with a less focused bird-eye view on the expanded cast which includes Tails, Eggman, the new villain Infinite and many more colorful personages.
Speaking of custom hero, we also get a juicy look at the ways we can customize him or her, including the fact that they’ll appear in cutscenes with the looks we selected. Incidentally, clearing missions will unlock avatar parts that will then be usable to further customize your own alter-ego.
We then get a look at the wispon, which are a mix of gadget and weapon that our avatar can use in order to both kill enemies and traverse in different ways depending on what kind we use. Another feature showcased is the W.Boost that the avatar and Sonic can perform together, which incidentally is the fastest you can go in the game.

Sonic Forces will release on November 7, 2017, for PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
