When the Nintendo Switch version of Slime-san was originally announced, it was unknown whether or not it would include the Blackbird’s Kraken DLC. Well, players can wonder no longer as developer Fabraz has officially revealed that the free update will be available for Nintendo Switch players, and it’s coming sooner than people might expect, on February 22, 2018.

To celebrate the announcement of the DLC, a brand new trailer was released, which shows off gameplay from the Switch version of the update for the first time. You can, as always, check it out at the end of the article.

For those that don’t know, Blackbird’s Kraken features twenty-five new levels, a new boss, new challenges, a customizable house, 100 new collectibles, new music, new characters, a new speedrun mode and a slew of other new features, all free of additional charge.

In addition to the new content, a number of different bugs and loading times have also been changed and improved. As of the time of this writing, a complete list of changes has not yet been revealed.

Slime-san was originally released on Steam on April 7, 2017, and made its way to Nintendo Switch this past Fall. That version of the game includes HD rumble, as well as the ability to play levels with just one Joy-Con.
