If there is nothing new you can entertain yourself in any of the games above, then we suggest you try out some mods, especially the graphical mods that give the game a modern look.

The video below shows off a heavily modded version of Skyrim that looks absolutely stunning. Although it’s an unofficial remake, it looks really like a late 8th-gen title, especially with the Ray-Tracing enabled.

The unofficial remake of Skyrim uses ENB mod along with Ray-Tracing Reshade to deliver the most realistic experience you can ever get from a 7th-gen title.

The lighting effects and reflections, especially on surfaces like water, don’t seem to have anything less than a modern-day game with official built-in Ray Tracing.

In order to get the same experience, you will need to subscribe to the modders page on Patreon to be able to download all the mods and learn the way to install them on your PC. Keep in mind that running all these mods requires a high-end PC.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim was originally launched back in 2011 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. It’s saddening that we spent a whole generation of consoles in the last 7 years without a new mainstream entry from The Elder Scrolls series.
