Shenmue I & II Gets New Trailer Showing Nostalgic Footage and Limited Edition for Japan

Today Sega released a brand new trailer of the upcoming Shenmue I & II remasters while announcing the release date for the Japanese market.

Apparently, Japanese gamers will have to wait quite a bit more compared to western ones, as the games will launch locally on November 22nd, exclusively for PS4.

We also get to see the limited edition, which will cost 5,900 yen plus taxes, and will include a special box and a soundtrack with two CDs (40 songs). Early purchase benefits will include a double-sided poster featuring the game’s key art.

You can check out the trailer below, showing quite a lot of cutscenes. If you want to see more about the game, you can watch the previous trailer showing the storyone that showcased a comparison between the game and the real Yokosuka, the one which announced the release date and the first promotional video. You can also check out a few 1080p screenshots showing the improved image quality.

Of course, fans are also eagerly waiting for the continuation of the story in Shenmue III, of which we recently got the first gameplay screenshot.

On top of Xbox One, Shenmue I & II will release in the west on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, on August 21st.
