Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that a dual pack of two Scribblenauts games is coming to current platforms. Titled Scribblenauts Mega Pack, the compilation will contain Scribblenauts Unlimited and Scribblenauts Unmasked. The most recently released title in the franchise was the party game Scribblenauts Showdown, so Mega Pack will return to the puzzle-adventure genre mash-up that the series is known for.
Unlimited added a large overworld for the player (as protagonist Maxwell) to explore, and allowed for “unlimited” possibilities by allowing the player to attach objects to each other. Per a WB press release, Unlimited has been updated to include two new bonus levels, online sharing of user-created objects, and the “sunflower” style of text entry as seen in Showdown. We’ll have to see if Mario and Link show up again.
Scribblenauts Unmasked took advantage of some Warner Bros. licensing, with Maxwell having the ability to summon various superheroes and villains from the DC universe, such as Superman, Batman, The Joker, and Lex Luthor. This new version of Unmasked has been updated to include hundreds of new DC characters, objects and costumes.
Scribblenauts Mega Pack will release for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PS4 on September 18.
