The next fighter coming to Samurai Shodown is stepping in from another game entirely, and looks the part too.

For Honor’s Warden will be joining the roster tomorrow (June 24) as part of a crossover between Ubisoft and SNK, and will be the last character to round out the game’s second season pass.

Announced Tuesday during the New Game+ Expo online event, we got a quick look at him in action before he becomes available. He definitely stands out from the rest of the cast, and by the looks of it, can really lay the hurt on as well.

For Honor’s Warden follows the additions of Mina Majikina, Sogetsu Kazama, and Iroha from Season Pass 2, and brings Samurai Shodown’s roster up to 25 characters.

The reveal was teased by SNK Global with Warden’s silhouette Sunday night, and it didn’t take long for fans to figure it out. Still, he figures to bring a new dynamic to the game, or a catapult at the very least.
