Following a plethora of announcements from Hi-Rez Expo 2018 this weekend, Hi-Rez Studios has revealed a new game, an RTS title for iOS and Android called Bot Smashers. It was revealed via a trailer that mixes cinematics with a brief glimpse of gameplay.
Bot Smashers is described as a “1v1 base-building strategy game” by its developers and has two armies of robots fighting in an arena attempting to smash the opposing team’s bot and bases into pieces in order to win. Of course, there is a lot of micromanaging strategy involved, as players have to choose how to build their base, upgrade structures and units, and command bots in battle.
While not much else was revealed about Bot Smashers at this time, Hi-Rez Studios is holding early online tests for the game and is letting the community get involved in them. Players can sign up for them on the game’s official website. All that is required is your email, country, time zone, and phone preference between iOS and Android.
