Toronto-based independent game studio Cococucumber released its action-adventure platformer Planet of the Eyes on Steam back in 2015, earning it a finalist spot for Best Indie Game at the 2015 Canadian Videogame Awards. Today, the developer announced that the title will soon be coming to consoles with a brand new gameplay trailer.

On September 12, Cococucumber’s Planet of the Eyes will make its console debut on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

For those unfamiliar with the now two-year-old game, Planet of the Eyes tells the story of a service robot that finds itself stranded on some unknown planet. While trying to uncover the secrets of the world, this robot will need to cross wide-expanses and solve physics-based puzzles, often undergoing a plethora of cleverly animated deaths. It’s a game that expects players to experiment frequently to be rewarded with fully-voiced audio logs that provide further insights into the environment and the robot’s predicament.

Planet of the Eyes is currently available on Steam for $9.99. The game is on its way to PS4 and Xbox One on September 12, 2017. For more information on the game, you can visit its Steam page or the developer’s website page dedicated to the game. Below you will find the Planet of the Eyes console release trailer.
