Developer Milestone announced Ride 3, the newest entry in their popular motorcycle racing game series, back in May. Today, a brand new video for the game that showcases a new track centered around Garda Lake and the Strada della Forra in Italy was released, and Ride 3 got a firm release date: November 8.
In order to capture the beauty of this beloved location, Milestone used drone-scanning and aerial photogrammetry to scout out the area and obtain the data required to reconstruct it in Ride 3 with extreme accurracy. The Strada della Forra is also called a “biker’s paradise” by many, so the developers want to get this track right.
For those of you who don’t know, Ride 3 is the first game in the series to be developed with Unreal Engine 4, giving the game a graphical boost over previous title. Additionally, Ride 3 will also include a reworked Career Mode, Livery Edition, 500 motorcycle customization parts, and many other quality-of-life improvements.
