Capcom showcases a very funny promotional music video featuring famous Japanese Enka singer Yoshi Ikuzo.

If you came here looking for the big, bad boss Lady, Ms Dimitrescu, let me direct you to another worthwhile article to get your rocks off. But, in saying that, she does make a cameo in Capcom’s newest promotional video so maybe stick around?

Capcom has just launched a Resident Evil Village music video parodying Japanese pop music from the ’80s sung by the famous Enka singer Yoshi Ikuzo. The song is a Resident Evil version of one of Yoshi’s most famous songs, “I’m Going To Tokyo”.

The title of the video loosely translates to “I Don’t Like This Village Lv.100” and features gameplay sequences of Resident Evil Village throughout, yes even a quick shot of Lady Dimitrescu lapping up some blood – as you do.

The entire video is hilarious and what makes it even funnier is during some of the Resident Evil Village cut scenes, Yoshi is seen in the corner reacting with jump scares and in another part of the video he shouts out “YOU ARE DEAD!”

Apparently, Yoshi also hilariously calls Lady Dimitrescu “Kyuuketsu Neechan” which, when translated from Japanese, means “vampire sis”.

Make sure you watch the video until the end where you’ll see Yoshi get turned into the many Lycans that roam the village in Resident Evil. He said that this was “the first time he’d ever done special effects make-up.”

Since you’re here, why not check out some amazing Resident Evil cosplay, a recap on the Resident Evil Showcase and also where Lady Dimitrescu got her inspiration from.

Resident Evil Village will release May 7th on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
