One of the trustworthy Resident Evil insiders who has already leaked some true information about Resident Evil 8 Village before its official announcement, claimed that the next trailer for Capcom’s Resident Evil 8 will be out in August along with some other things.

As a direct sequel to Resident Evil 7, Village is going to be the second first-person entry of the series with a much horrifying setting, more new characters, and some big mutated wolf-like enemies whose origin is yet to be known. With its mysterious and partially vague reveal trailer during Sony’s event earlier last month, Resident Evil 8 Village seems to feature a much complicated story compared to its predecessor.

Probably the biggest plot twist of the upcoming Resident Evil game will be spinning around Chris Redfield, who seems to be an unpredictable character that has been changed a lot since the events of the previous game. According to the developers, Chris is the main reason behind the new troubles that Ethan is going to face in Resident Evil 8 Village.

AestheticGamer is a well-known Capcom insider who has already leaked the setting and some other story details of Village before we even get to know about the existence of the game officially. One other thing that Dusk Golem is insisting on is the announcement of a new PS5-exclusive Silent Hill title that many veteran fans of the franchise are waiting for, though nothing has happened yet.

In addition to Dusk Golem, the official website for Resident Evil 8 also indicates that the next update around the game will be available in August 2020.

As Capcom’s very first next-gen title, Resident Evil 8 Village is being developed by an improved version of RE Engine, the same engine that the Japanese developers used to deliver Devil May Cry 5 and all the previous Resident Evil game launched during the current generation of consoles.

Despite being under development for over three years, Resident Evil 8 Village will be skipping this year to get released sometime next year on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
