Rainbow Six Siege players now can jump into the first arcade mode in Year 5 Season 2. Attrition is the new option in your playlist that will be available until July 13.

Earlier last month, Ubisoft officially launched the Year 5 Season 2 content for Rainbow Six Siege which brought Ace and Melusi as new playable operators to the game, along with the reworked version of the House map. Aside from operators, skins, and other improvements, Ubisoft launches one or two Arcade modes throughout each season, and the first Arcade mode for Operation Steel Wave is now live.

In Attrition, you will be playing Bomb matches similar to the Unranked mode, but the only difference is whenever you win a round in the match, you won’t be able to pick the same in the next rounds. So, if you achieved victory in a round, you will be playing with totally different characters in the next one. The mode is now available across all platforms and it doesn’t require any additional update to download. You can play Attrition until July 13.

On July 12th, Ubisoft will be sharing the latest trailers from its announced projects and probably will be revealing some new games as well. The new Arcade mode for Rainbow Six Siege probably joins the other interesting plans of Ubisoft over the last few days to celebrate their upcoming event.

Recently, Ubisoft revealed that you will be able to use the trial version of Uplay+ for free until July 27. Also, every Uplay user that signs into his account during the showcase on July 12th, will be receiving a free digital copy of Watch Dogs 2.

While we don’t expect to hear much about Rainbow Six Siege in Ubisoft Forward, getting a new trailer and probably the release window for Rainbow Six Quarantine might be a big part of the show.
