To close today’s PS5 event today, Sony finally revealed the design of the next-gen platform along with unveiling a second model of the system that will also be available at launch.

To match the white and black look of the DualSense controller, the PS5 console itself also has the same color scheme. As for the design of the platform, it’s, uhh, interesting? The PlayStation 5 seems to have a curved outline that narrows in the middle and grows increasingly wider at the top.

Perhaps more noteworthy than anything else, though, is that the console will be launching in two formats. The first is the standard iteration of the platform that comes equipped with a disc drive. The second is a digital-only version for those that are seemingly ready to leave physical media in the past with the jump to next-gen. While Sony didn’t disclose prices for the console, it seems apparent that the Digital Edition will be a bit cheaper.

Lastly, Sony revealed some other additional hardware accessories that will seemingly be available alongside the release of the PS5 later this year, too. These devices include a DualSense charging stand, a PlayStation HD camera, a media remote, and a new 3D audio headset.

What are your thoughts on the design of the PlayStation 5? Let us know down in the comments.
