Today’s issue of Weekly Famitsu included a spread on Compile Heart’s upcoming JRPG Death end re;Quest. In the article there were a few screenshots and the introductions of two characters.
We get to see the skill menu for the playable characters, that vary widely from damage-dealing to those who deliver additional effects and status anomalies.
Moving back to the real world, we get to learn about a company called “Summer Life,” that opened six months before the events of the game. They mainly work on web services, but also dabble on software development for other companies.
We also meet two new characters. Natsuo Munakata is a private entrepreneur, but used to be the hero’s boss, so he knows him well and will collaborate with him.
Rin Asukaze is a female employee who has taken up the role of studio Enigma’s president. Contrary to her youthful appearance she is relatively old. She almost never speaks unless it’s strictly necessary, but she is a reliable presence who always appears suddenly when someone is in a pinch.

Death end re;Quest will release exclusively for PS4, but no release window has been announced thus far.
