If you want to take a look at the upcoming kaiju attack survival game City Shrouded in Shadows before it releases in Japan, you’re inn luck.
YouTube user 牛沢 uploaded the first stage of the game divided in two parts, providing us an extensive look at the gameplay.
We get to see a lot of running away, some dialogue, getting squished by giant boots and more. The game definitely looks as crazy as its premise implies. If you’re not familiar with it, the player plays a normal dude that gets caught in the middle of a series of attacks by kaiju, giant superheroes, robots and all kinds of nasty critters.
The objective is, of course, surviving.

City Shrouded in Shadow will release in Japan on October 19th, exclusively for PS4. A PS Vita version was canceled earlier this year. For the moment there is no word of a western launch, or even of an English release for the Asian market. All we can do is waiting.
