GameTomo launched a new trailer for their mech action game Project Nimbus: Code Mirai, a PlayStation 4 remastered port of the Project Nimbus series.

The gameplay video shows footage from the PlayStation 4 version of the game that was announced in September. Those who have played the PC version will notice a few visual upgrades that the developers have added to the console release.

This is partially due to Project Nimbus: Code Mirai being made using the Unreal Engine 4. Additionally, the game’s controls have been rebalanced to work with the Dualshock 4 controller, and the developers have revamped the gameplay actions to make the controls easier to learn.

The PlayStation 4 version of the game will contain Act 1 and Act 2 of the original Project Nimbus, with the aforementioned improvements.

Project Nimbus has the player accept missions where they must pilot a mech over 16 different locations. The game features a variety of different weapons loadouts including, smart missiles, laser blades, particle cannons, floating laser shields, rail guns, and auto-attacking and defending psycho drones.

The developer promises more information about Project Nimbus: Code Mirai to come soon.
