Atlus and Vanillaware announced players who bought the Japanese version of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will be able to claim Princess Crown on PS4 as DLC starting January 31.

Atlus and Vanillaware also announced those who buy 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim‘s digital version until January 15, 2020, or the physical version with green stickers on its packages, will also get Princess Crown as DLC. Atlus might digitally publish Princess Crown on PS4 separately at a later date, but hasn’t made any announcement regarding that for now.

As we already explained, this is a simple PS4 port of Princess Crown, not a remaster. Seeing the game never released in the west, it’ll be interesting to see if it’ll get localized along with 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, which was announced in the west but with no release date. The last time we got news regarding the western release was before the Vita version even got canceled, and I personally believe the game won’t be available outside Japan anytime soon.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is being highly praised in Japan, most notably by Yoko Taro or by various players’ comments seen in this new commercial Atlus published.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim launched on PS4 on November 28 in Japan. I am playing through the game in Japanese and translating it in English on the go with playthrough videos, and you can read more about that in our let’s play introduction article. The first three episodes are also included below.
