The forthcoming Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! will without a doubt be banking on nostalgia for the original Game Boy games, and music will be a large part of that experience. Pokémon fans will be happy to hear that these remixed tunes will come in form of a physical soundtrack—though predictably, the set is only confirmed for Japan at the moment.
The soundtrack will come in three discs, the first two containing the music remixes featured in this remake, and the third disc coming with remastered tracks from the games Let’s Go is based off of: versions Red, Green (that’s Blue, for non-Japanese fans), and Yellow.
In addition to all of the music, the soundtrack will include a “luxury booklet” that will contain 60 colorful pages with information about the game, with words from both original game composer Junichi Masuda and Let’s Go composer Shota Kageyama.
Those in Japan can expect the “Super Music Complete” soundtrack for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! to drop on December 1. Previous Pokémon soundtracks have received digital releases in the West through services like Spotify and iTunes, so there’s still hope for those fans. The Nintendo Switch game, which will feature Mega Evolutions, will release on November 16 and is available to pre-order on Amazon.
